Referral Sale

Between January and June 2009, we're running a special promotion.  Send us a referral of someone you think could benefit from enCV, and we'll do our best to further than relationship in our trademark professional manner.  If that referral develops into a sale, we'll give you two tickets to anywhere WestJet flies!
Basic Training
We are offering a one-day basic training in Calgary on May 28, 2009.  This will cover basic customization of the system, as well as a refresher on job evaluation, and a guide to getting started with the performance module.  Please contact Client Relations information on registration and cost.
Banff Training
Your next opportunity to attend an enCV training session is September 23 - 25 in Banff, Alberta.  Information on guest speakers and registration will be available in the coming months.  For more information, contact Client Relations.
Spring Cleaning for enCV
If you are an enCV client,  your performance review period is probably over for another year. For some organizations this is a lengthy process, and if it's your first time using enCV, it can be a great learning experience too!  If you are interested, we would be happy to lead you through a short debrief of your experience.  We can give you tips on improving the process for next year, as well as receive valuable feedback from you and your employees.  Contact Client Relations for more details.
Holiday Hours
Our offices will be closed for Easter on Friday, April 10 and Monday, April 13.  As always, we will be available for client emergencies via phone or email.  Happy Spring!
Did you know?
Instead of setting new security levels for each employee - which can be time-consuming and possibly produce errors - you can use default security profiles within enCV.   Version 8.5 and later all have this feature.  Contact us for more information.

Integrated Talent Management Reception

Our newest release is here!  We have a whole new version number for a whole new way of looking at enCompassing Visions.  We’ve updated our login screen and simplified our main menu. There are new screens and new reports as well.  All of these changes were made to make it as easy as possible for you to find what you are looking for and as efficient as possible to get the job done.  If you are a current client, you will be receiving the new release very soon.  For more information, contact Client Relations.

HRAC Gala

On Friday, April 3, enCompassing Visions was proud to be the welcome sponsor for an exciting event hosted by the Human Resources Association of Calgary.  The evening included live music, great food, and the highlight - a presentation from Gen (Ret) Rick Hillier, who spoke on how to build a winning organization, based on his experiences in Canada's military.  If you attended, check our website to see if the number on your wine stem matches the winning number.  The prize is a $75 gift certificate to Gnocchi's Restaurant.

 
 

Dear Doug

Q:  We're planning to introduce Work Plans to complement the Competency review.  Is there anything we should know about this module before we get started?
A:   Work Plans are a great companion to the Competency review because you get a picture of how the employee does their job, and whether or not they met their goals.  One area we can help with is with changing the Work Plan evaluation options.  This customization will ensure that the wording on the evaluation matches with that of the Competency review.  For more information, please contact Client Relations.
