Newsletter Changes

As you can see, we've made some changes to our newsletter for 2010. We felt that we needed to create two different newsletters - one for clients and one for business contacts - in order to provide useful information to each group. As always, this newsletter will come to your inbox every quarter. If you have any suggestions for content, or if you know someone else who would be interested in receiving a copy of the newsletter, please let us know.  
 
 
Version 9.1 is on its way!
Coming in March 2010, our newest release will make enCompassing Visions even better than ever.  This release will include enhancements to a number of screens, as well as the ability to track skills and certifications.  And our performance review screen will be completely re-worked to make it even more user-friendly.  Watch for more details in the coming weeks!
 
 
Top 100 Employers Conference
This conference was held in Toronto on November 19 and 20, and enCompassing Visions was there as a sponsor.  We spent an excellent two days hearing speakers talk about ways to become a Top Employer, as well as hearing recipients of that honour talk about how their organization made the list.  We networked with lots of great people, and spent some time chatting with some clients who were in attendance, including the Town of Beaumont, Calgary Laboratory Services, and Agriculture Financial Services Corp.  See more on our website.
 
 
 Did You Know?
enCompassing Visions can evaluate your employees' performance in three different ways.  The competency review evaluates the behaviours that are required for the employee's specific job.  The work plan review evaluates how well the employee completed his goals for the year.  The professional development review looks at professional development goals that the employee was required to meet.  Clients can use all three or any combination, and they choose the weight that each area will have in the final review.  For more information about how enCV can help you evaluate your employees' performance, contact us.
